Commissioner's Rankings 2024

"Interesting. I didn't know Brady got Tuesday night confused with Sunday." - Clint Gribble. The good Lord told me to rest a second time because in our weakest moments, we find the strength we never knew we had. Today is one of those days...

Injury Report:

We got a lot today. I missed an injury last article. Hollywood Brown is now out for like six weeks. Makes Clint's team even worse.

Rookie QB, JJ McCarthy, had season ending surgery today. No one was drafting him, but it could affect guys like Justin Jefferson, TJ Hockenson, and Aaron Jones's seasons.

Mark Andrews was in a car accident this morning. No word on injuries.

Matthew Stafford had a hamstring injury pop up today. That can definitely affect Puka and Kupp.

Diontae Johnson has a mild groin injury. Something to watch.

The "This is their year" Award:

Nominees:

Austin - Finally Wins the Thumper Bowl

Bryan - Finally Wins Golden Toilet Seat

Brady - Becomes First Back-to-Back Winner

Rusty - First Three Time Golden Toilet Seat Winner

Austin - First Three Time Golden Toilet Seat Winner

This is tough. As much as I want to pick myself here, I'm taking a long shot. Bryan will finally win the Golden Toilet Seat this season.

Number 6 - Brady

My team started off hot. Everything was falling into place through two rounds, and then the entire strategy disappeared.

I love my starting RBs, Breece and Kyren. These two lead me to the Thumper Bowl last year. I waited a little too long for my RB3 and ended up taking a rookie that I didn't know was currently hurt, then two backups that could or could not take over as the RB1 for their teams.

I'm comfortable with my WRs, even though I never once thought I would take a rookie as my WR1. Even if he's slow reach his potential early in the season, I feel like I got some really good value in Waddle, Metcalf, and Ridley.

The plan was to take a TE late. Targets were Ferguson, Pitts, and Njoku, but I saw Kincaid still there and didn't like the RBs available.

Definitely didnt have a rookie QB and old ass immobile Cousins on my radar, but I put too much into drafting Kyler. Kyler got sniped one pick before I planned on taking him so I punted QB. Luckily, the more I watched Daniels the more I think I'll be alright.

I feel like a fringe playoff team with this team. I need two rookies to show up and no injuries.

Bold Prediction: Jayden Daniels finishes as a top 7 QB.
