Week 6 Preview
Feels like we had a quiet week around here. Probably because OU and OSU are both the jokes of their conferences.
Everyone has officially lost a game this season so no more hopes for an undefeated team. No major injuries that I can remember, just a lot of nagging injuries for players.
It's already Sunday morning so I guess we'll make this a short one this week.
Waiver Report
Tank Bigsby - $40 - Aron
I was surprised we were the only two people to bid on Bigsby. Make sense Aron to spend whatever it took on Etienne's backup since there are rumors the Jags may try to trade Etienne. Plus he hasn't looked good compared to Bigsby.
Tucker Kraft - $24 - Rusty
At one point I had a large bid on Kraft but I cancelled it Tuesday night. I regret it since he's the only healthy TE on the Packers now. He's been targetted the last two weeks so I see him continuing to be a top 10 TE weekly.
Jalen Tolbert - $22 - Austin
I only included this as the weekly, "Thanks for Spending FAAB on a Guy No One Else Even Put $1 On" shoutout.
Power Rankings
Dom is the big mover this week, jumping 4 spots to number 2.
Cord gets the big upset victory over Aron but still sits in last place.
Only other thing of note is how unlucky Clint has been. 7th in the power rankings. 11th in the standings. 4th most points scored but has gone up against about 45 more points than the next team and about 70 more points than the next team.
Week 6 Games of the Week
Logan (3-2) vs Bryan (2-3)
Logan is currently in the playoffs as the 6th seed, while Bryan is the first team out as the 7th seed.
Projections in this one are basically even since Logan hasn't put a defense in his lineup yet. If he does decide he needs to start one, the projections should be pretty close.
Both teams' benches are full of players on bye so we really aren't getting the full matchup this week. It could work to Bryan's advantage since he gets to start a good QB for the first time this season.
Even with the byes, neither team is starting anyone crazy. Both teams lucky for RB injuries (Bryan with Robinson and Logan with Taylor). These allowed them to slide backup RBs into their lineups.
I think I have to take Logan just because Lamar should score 60 points against the Washington defense this week.
Commissioner's Pick: Logan (Record 5-0)
