Week 11 Preview
Seems like just yesterday I was writing the Week 10 Preview. Don't forget about the Rum Ham Slam next week!
Playoff Watch after Week 10:
The winner's bracket stays the same other than a reshuffling of the seeds.
Byes: Brady (Clinched Playoffs) and Aron
3 Seed - Kevin vs 6 Seed - Bruce
4 Seed - Dom vs 5 Seed - Clint
More importantly, the Loser's Bracket would look like this:
Byes: Chris (Clinched Loser's Bracket) and Logan
10 Seed - Rusty vs 7 Seed - Austin
9 Seed - Cord vs 8 Seed - Bryan
Same six teams in each bracket as last week. Some reshuffling of seeds in. Bruce holds the tiebreaker over Austin by 33 points.
I have clinched a playoff spot while Chris has mathematically been eliminated from the playoffs. I guarantee his team scores more than 4 of the 6 playoff teams over the last three weeks of the season.
Worst Coach of the Week
Nominees:
Rusty for not grabbing a kicker that was healthy before the weekend and for starting the grossest RBs all season long.
Bryan for starting that bum Josh Allen over Joe Burrow.
Anyone who needed an RB over the last ten weeks and still has FAAB left over.
I'm taking everyone who needs an RB this late in the season and still has over $50 FAAB left: Cord and Rusty are the two main culprits here. Mitchell might have not been the sexiest pickup, but what else are you going to spend the FAAB on?
Biggest Busts
QB - Josh Allen - I'm not even going to look at other QBs this week. Allen looked like Trubisky out there.
RB - Derrick Henry - 2.5 points is abysmal for the yeti. Chris needed a win bad.
WR - Hollywood Brown - He got his QB back and only got one catch. Need more from him.
TE - Kyle Pitts - He didn't have a terrible game but a bigger game would have helpde Chris.
Kicker/ Defense -

Update on Season Long Bet Mixon vs Ford:

Mixon - 106.3 points
Week 11 Games of the Week:
Rusty (3-7) vs Bryan (4-6)
I hate to do this to Bryan again, but this game is huge for both teams. With four weeks left, Rusty is three games behind the 6th seed. He basically needs to win out or get extremely lucky. Bryan is 2 games back, but still has a big uphill battle to get the 6th seed.
What went wrong with these two teams?
Rusty:
It starts at the draft. 1st round pick, Chubb, was lost for the season early and 2nd round pick, Jonathon Taylor, didn't play for most of the season. In the 3rd and 4th round he went with WRs, Devonte Smith and Olave, who have both been just average or boom/bust all season. The rest of his draft is very depressing with the lone bright spot being Tua in the 8th. Did I mention Dalvin Cook in the 5th. Yikes.
Surely he played the waiver well right? He got Sam Laporta which was a big get for $13, but other than that he's barely spent money. He still has $89 left.
Bryan:
"Championships aren't won at the draft." Well it helps. Travis Kelce has been Travis Kelce, but not the game changer that you hope for in the second overall pick. Josh Allen has been the best QB in fantasy this season, but taking him in the second has left him weak at other spots. Other players drafted that have performed below ADP or missed games this season: Waddle (3rd), Herbert (4th), Kamara has been awesome since he came back, but Bryan didn't get to experience that, and then everyone he drafted from round 8-14 was injured, dropped, or traded lol.
Bryan has played the waivers and trades well this season, he has just had some bad luck. I don't feel like going through all his transactions.
If Rusty had JT playing this weekend, I would give him a shot, but he doesn't have JT or Olave, so I have to give the win to Bryan easily. Rusty, you're eliminated from the playoffs. Good luck in the Rum Ham next week!
Commissioner's Pick (10-0): Bryan
