Another year of the Bayou Rumble has passed. Congrats to Rusty on winning a close one by less than 1 point! After some deep research, I found that this win brings the overall record to Rusty's advantage: 8-6.
Oh yeah... did someone say power rankings?
Something is definitely wrong with these power rankings. I'll look into them throughout the week and try to figure it out. Congrats to Austin on being the big mover this week, moving up 5 spots to 5.
The Good:
There's one thing myself and the Dolphins have in common: we both love hot weather. Definitely not looking forward to the winter weather. What about you guys? Other than that, the good I guess is Bryan taking multiple QBs and TEs has backfired on him so far.
The Bad:
Only one trade completed through three weeks and it kind of looks like a very one sided trade for Logan so far. He needs it as he's played some cupcakes so far.
The Ugly:
Clint, my man, what is going on? Only team to not pass 300 points and only one of two teams to have less than 300 put up against him. Better figure something out quick. Trades? Let's talk.
Let's get to Game of the Week.
Week 4 Game of the Week:
The Fantasy Football Team (Bruce) vs Ck CK (Chris)
There wasn't really much to choose from this week. I picked this one because they're overall records, if they had each played every team this year showed up as 16 wins for Bruce to 13 for Chris, which was pretty close to be honest. They were also within 7 points of each other last week.
Both teams have had some weird luck so far, especially at RB. Ekeler and Cook haven't really lived up to their draft capital, while Sanders and CEH/Patterson have exceeded all expectations to this point.
At QB they've had totally opposite stories. Bruce has the young stud in Allen that every real NFL team probably wishes they had, while Chris has Brady, the QB every team wished they had for the last two decades. Unfortunately I don't think many teams would want the Brady we are seeing on the field this year. He's greatly underwhelmed in fantasy.
There are so many questions at WR and TE for both teams too. Higgins and Thomas injured as usual. Deebo and Sutton have been good so far. Everett was the early TE surprise but had a down week, while Knox has been a huge disappointment for his ADP.
I don't know where to pick here this week. If Dalvin Cook and Michael Thomas are both out then Chris has a big decision to make at the flex spot. Because of that and because I think Josh Allen will go scorched earth after getting beat by the Dolphins, I have to take Bruce this week.
Commissioner’s Pick: The Fantasy Football Team - Bruce (1-2)
Congrats on your win Bruce!
