Week 4 Preview

Hey, no major injuries finally except for Mike Williams (sorry Bruce). There's also those nagging injuries that guys like Ekeler and Burrow are dealing with. Just waiting for one or both of them to be sent to IR to rest up at this point.

The other big news this week is the De'von Achane lottery. We've had a major RB on waivers every week so far. It's been a short season so far, but why not see how that's worked out.

Week 1:

Kenneth Gainwell ($115 by Clint) - He was immediately sat the next week and Swift got the start. Swift looked electric that week. In week 3 he split carries with Swift. He got 14 carriers but definitely didn't put up $115 worth of points. Clint's best hope is that Swift gets injured like he always does.

Kyren Williams ($45 by Brady) - He took over the backfield and forced Akers to be traded away. He currently sits as RB5 on the season. His week 2 immediately paid off with 25 points, but he fell back to earth week 3 with only 7.5 points.

Justice Hill ($27 by Cord) - In week 2 he only scored 6.7 points and then sat out due to injury in Week 3. Edwards may be out this week so Hill has a shot to have a big week 4.

Gus Edwards ($25 by Chris) - The curse of Gus continues. His 12.2 points in week 2 was pretty good for a $25 addition, but 5.1 and an injury in week 3 was not great. Hope for a speedy recovery.

Joshua Kelley ($22 by Logan) - Logan needed an Ekeler replacement. Who better than his backup? Literally anyone. He has scored a total of 6.1 points over the two weeks he's been the starter. Logan better hope Ekeler gets back quick!

Week 2:

Jerome Ford ($201 by Logan) - As just mentioned, Logan needed RBs badly. Spending over the annual budget on one RB was risky, but it looks good so far. He didn't even have a great game and put up 18.1 points. Could be the player that turns Logan's season around.

Jaylen Warren ($85 by Clint) - Clint spent the rest of his budget on Warren, a backup RB for the Steelers offense that has looked really average. He only put up 6.7 points this week, but every fantasy analyst alive is saying he will take over the backfield. Only time will tell with this addition.

Kareem Hunt ($39 by Rusty) - Some people thought he was being signed to take over the Browns backfield. It doesn't look like it. He only scored 4.5 points in his Browns re-debut. I think this is Ford's backfield for the season.

Zack Moss (Free by Bryan) - I had this guy and tried to trade him, but no one bit. Then Bryan took a shot on him. Myself and every fantasy analyst thought Moss was a JAG, but he's looked awesome the last two weeks and helped Bryan to a win. His future really depends on two things: does JT stay and does A-Rich take over the goalline work when he's healthy?

Update on Winless Teams

Logan:

Why is he 0-3? Week 1 he played the highest scorer and the last two weeks he played the second highest scorer. He's really just waiting on his RBs to get healthy and a little luck. 0-3 is tough to come back from, but many teams have made the playoffs at 7-6.

Will he turn it around? It still hinges on those RBs' status. Luckily Ford looks good. This team could be unstoppable when it is fully healthy.

Austin:

Why is he 0-3? Third lowest score in week 1, second lowest score in week 2, lowest score in week 3. See a trend here? Three WRs aren't enough to lead this team out of the bottom of the league. Austin better start making some moves.

Will he turn it around? Just as I said last week, he needs a couple of RBs and a QB. A lot of work and luck needed the next few weeks.

Worst Coach of the Week

Nominees:

Brady for benching Mostert (RB2 on the week).

Logan for benching Pacheco over Kelley.

The entire league for not putting a bid on Zach Moss.

Your winner: I'll give it to everyone who needs an RB badly and didn't make room on their roster for Moss. Even if he's a two week fill-in until JT gets back, a starting RB shouldn't be available for free.

Biggest Busts

QB - Baker Mayfield - A big game wouldn't have helped much since Austin still lost by 30+ points. Austin, blame the o-coordinator. That was bad playcalling.

RB - Joshua Kelley - Less than 7 points in two weeks combined. Had to be the biggest bust. Cost Logan another game.

WR - Joshua Reynolds - 31 points in two weeks. St Brown nursing an injury. Why would he not continue the trend? I don't know, but he put up a big 0 on the scoreboard for Bryan.

TE - Dalton Kincaid - There were a lot of bad TE performances this week, but the wonder-rookie scoring 1.3 when the Bills scored 37 points is unacceptable when other rookie TEs are in the top 15 on the season. Dom needs to find a TE quick.

Kicker/ Defense - Jags - Negative points. That's all it takes to end up here.

In Memoriam

Week 3 - Mike Williams, Joshua Kelley

Week 2 - Nick Chubb, Austin Ekeler?, Justin Fields

Week 1 - Aaron Rodgers, JK Dobbins, Jets Wide Receivers

Week 3 Bets

Brady vs Kevin, Dolphins vs Broncos, winner gets round of golf - Winner: Brady

Week 4 Games of the Week:

Logan (0-3) vs Aron (3-0)

I know Aron was game of the week last week, but this is a big game. Logan needs a win bad if he expects to make the playoffs. Aron could increase his chances of making the playoffs tremendously with a win here.

Surprisingly, ESPN has Aron predicted to win this matchup even with them showing Ekeler and Jones healthy for Logan.

Nobody really cares about how each team is going to play. We just want to see if Weatherford keeps an undefeated team or if their best player historically can start their playoff push.

Commissioner's Pick (3-0): Logan
